Feel the mood of freedom

Music Loft is the actual music club of Le Scandale and the epicentre of nightlife in the centre of Zakopane. We open on Fridays and Saturdays at 21:30 and play until 5:00 in the morning, which makes us one of the longest open clubs in town. The dance floor usually warms up after 23:00, so the earlier hours are a good moment to take a table calmly and have the first drink.

The core of the repertoire is house in all its forms: melodic, afro, tech and disco, complemented by progressive house, urban music and dance floor classics. Residents and special guests take the decks, and every set is played all night long. One DJ is responsible for the whole night, which gives the party a coherent arc instead of a series of short, random appearances. We publish the line-up for the coming Friday and Saturday in advance, together with the poster and the artist's name.

VIP tables with waiter service and bottle service are arranged around the dance floor. Booking a table means a set place for the whole night, entry without queueing and the team looking after you all evening, from the first bottle to the last toast. Entry to a party costs 40 PLN, with attractive discounts when you pay in cash. The age limit is 18 for women and 21 for men, so we ask for photo ID at the door. A smart casual dress code applies, with no sportswear or flip-flops, and we run door selection before entry. We do not do it for the sake of a rule: it is about the character of the venue and the comfort of the people already inside. The cloakroom is free, which really matters during a Zakopane winter.

The club has no car park of its own, but it sits in the very centre of Zakopane, at ul. Zaruskiego 5, 300 metres from Krupówki. The nearest parking spaces are around the promenade, although most guests reach us on foot after an evening spent in the centre. The club entrance leads straight from the street.

Music Loft also works beyond the regular weekend programme. We host team and company events, birthdays, hen and stag nights and private events here. The club space is available together with a DJ, sound system, lighting, the bar and waiter service, and we agree on the details and the quote individually, by phone.

The quality of a night comes down to more than the music alone. We take care of the sound and lighting, because in a club of this size both decide whether the dance floor is alive or merely looks occupied. We also run door selection and enforce the dress code, which is sometimes debated, but in practice it determines who is standing next to you at three in the morning.

Music Loft is busiest in the winter season, during school holidays and over Christmas and New Year, when Zakopane welcomes guests from all over Poland. The programme is richer then, special guests appear more often, and tables are booked even several weeks ahead. Outside the peak season the club plays at a calmer pace, but the weekend schedule stays the same: Friday and Saturday, starting at 21:30.

It is worth knowing that Music Loft and Cocktail Room are two separate spaces in the same building, connected by a passage. In practice this means you can change your surroundings several times in one night: sit at the bar for a while, go back to the dance floor, rest again at your table. For many guests it is exactly that freedom that makes them stay with us until closing instead of moving somewhere else.
